Free Pitchin Seminar For Filmmakers And Writers in LA

As always, I try to help my fellow filmmaker friends and actors.
This could be very helpful while networking with good people.
I started out by directing my scripts I wrote. I didn't go to a film school or a seminar.
I always suggest go make your own project when you are new to build up credits and have a finished project in the can. You can then submit to film/short festivals.
Check out my latest comedy, Recipe For Love. A cooking comedy combing The Bachelor with Top Chef.

WITH
MICHAEL NICOLLETTA

Michael Nicolletta has studied Strasberg & Miesner technique, worked with Academy Award winner Robert Moresco both in NY and LA, and studied with Actors Studio verteran Charlie Laughton. He has many prfessional credits in Theatre, film, televison and commercials.

His coaching style is straightforward, insightful and simple. He doesn’t teach actors to “act”…he teaches actors to relax and trust their impulses so that every individual can bring themselves fully to the role they are playing.

In his own words he says “ I don’t believe you can teach a person how to act. But you can guide an actor to relax and trust themselves while remaining authentic, so
a fully realized character can be created through the body and through the imagination.”

Actors Creative Workshop A good choice with best prices

Sharing good actor workshops in LA to meet real casting directors of TV and film.
So many Moms and actors ask me how they start their acting career.
You must be in a good acting class. Go see my teacher Michelle Danner at Edgemar Studios in Santa Monica. She is amazing!!
Then you must meet casting directors and agents. Get a great head shot that represents who you are: your personality and the person you can really play in a TV role or film role now. If you are uncomfortable as leading lady who does films in scantily clothes then go for the drama real leading lady/male in intelligent/smart/drama roles. If you are a character start with that. They are all respectable roles and you can branch out once you do what you do great! They want you. Like Johnny Depp is Johnny Depp. How great is his personality as Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean! Or Reese Whiterspoon in Legally Blonde!
Here is another choice for some good workshops.
They will beat anyones price by $1. Remember check out packages to save more money!
This is the May schedule for classes in LA.
I hope this helps!!!
